The Toyota Tacoma also offers plenty of towing capacity if you plan on hauling heavy loads. The truck itself can tow up to 6,800 when properly equipped, though the weight your Tacoma can tow depends on the cab you choose. For example, the three maximum tow ratings for the Access Cab include 6,800, 6,500, and 3,500 pounds, whereas the Double Cab Tacomas have three maximum towing capacities of 6,700, 6,600, and 6,400 pounds.
