Your TPMS, or tire pressure monitoring system, monitors the air pressure in your car's tires. If your tire pressure is too low, the TPMS light goes on.

But why is your TPMS light on?

In less than a minute, our Service Director, Ray Tucker, gives you the most common reason why, what you should look for in your tires, how you can fix this TPMS problem, and how you can get back on the road with a reset TPMS light.

Hello! My name is Ray Tucker, the Service Director for Kings Toyota. Today, we're going to talk about a few service tips. The most common reason why your tire pressure light comes on, especially going from fall to winter, is that colder temperatures can lower the tire pressure in the tire by 5 psi.

Most of the time we see that in the morning time. It's very, very crucial to keep your tire pressure at 35 psi at all times. If you need to get your tire pressures checked you can swing by the dealership. We can do that at no cost in our service drive. No appointment needed.
