Paired with a dynamic-shift continuously variable transmission with a Sport driving mode, this powertrain gets 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque.
SE Nightshade Edition
The SE Nightshade special edition adds stylish dark accents such as a sport mesh black grille with a black bumper and surround, black heated outside mirrors with turn signal indicators, black door handles, black-painted sport side rocker panels, a black rear spoiler, black-painted 18-inch alloy wheels, and black badging.
SE Apex Edition
The SE Apex is another special edition with exterior upgrades such as a bronze and black front spoiler with C-shaped accents, color-keyed outside door handles, bronze and black side rocker panels, a color-keyed rear spoiler, 18-inch black flow-formed aluminum wheels, a sport-tuned exhaust with a conical-shaped tip, black badging, and a black roof.
Inside you lose the paddle shifters but gain bronze accent stitching. Under the hood, you get the same 2.0-liter engine but an option for a six-speed intelligent manual transmission for a more thrilling driving experience.
Corolla XLE
The XLE has all the features as the SE with a few modifications, including a black grille with a sport mesh insert, color-keyed heated outside mirrors with turn signal, and blind-spot indicators. You also get a power tilt/slide moonroof and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside you upgrade to heated front seats and premium SofTex seating material that's beautiful and easy to clean. The driver-assist system gains a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert. Under the hood, you go back to the 1.8-liter engine and CVT transmission.
Corolla XSE
The XSE trim comes with all the XLE features plus accent lighting on the daytime running lights, smoked sport trim on the taillights, a sport mesh dark gray metallic grille, gray metallic sport side rocker panels, a rear spoiler, and 18-inch machined alloy wheels with dark gray painted accents.
Inside you'll find eight-way power-adjustable front seats with SofTex material heated seats. You have access to luxury package options that include ambient lighting and premium audio systems. Under the hood, you return to the 2.0-liter engine.
XSE Apex Edition
This final special edition has all the features of the XSE but with the stylish bronze and black touches found on the SE Apex Edition. Under the hood, you'll find the same 2.0-liter engine and CVT transmission. The cabin features bronze stitching and stylish SofTex materials.
